About

Our beginning

Jerry Vickery started CJ’s Machining in 1997 (with 4 manual machines and 2 employees) in a small rental unit. As with many new businesses he worked tirelessly with very little time off and reinvesting back into the company to make it successful. With his strong work ethic and desire for making quality machined parts: CJ’s Machining was established.

Today

CJ’s Machining is a 16000 square foot manufacturing facility equipped with some of the latest CNC Technology. We were the first in the country to receive the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard Certification and are currently in the process of acquiring the ISO 13485:2016 Medical Devices Certification. Instilled with the same work ethic, Chuck Vickery and his sister Jeri Ann manage the daily operations and guide the future direction for CJ’sMachining.

Security

January 1, 2012 CJ’s Machining transitioned to a complete digital format for the entire facility. Installing computers at every workstation allows us to transmit company and customer data securely in order to protect proprietary information. This data is backed up at two separate locations.

Environmental

At CJ’s Machining we are very aware of the impact manufacturing has on our planet. We have been and continue doing our part to make our planet a safe and sustainable place for millennia to come. We recycle our swarf materials produced from the machining process. We recycle waste coolants and oils. LED lighting has been installed throughout the entire facility to reduce energy consumption. Installing computers at manufacturing workstations in 2012 allowed us to go 100% paperless on the manufacturing floor. We continue to work on reducing paper use in the office.

Contingency

In 2016 CJ’s Machining installed a 150 kw natural gas generator. This generator will supply power to the entire facility allowing us to continue production in case of a power outage and allows us to mitigate the risk of lost time.

The Team

CJ’s Machining has an exceptionally talented team of machinists and operators. Having diverse backgrounds in machining, each one brings unique skills with them from years of experience. Their dedication to the trade is shown everyday
in the quality of the parts they produce.
